Our Symba arrived today, sweet ride with four gears and an auto clutch.  Quick and nimble, I can see why SYM brought the old Cub back for enjoyment for all.....here's Radar pausing for a pic:

Here's a Link to some accessory pics for the Symba...thinking I'd like to go with the black side storage compartments and windscreen.  Spiffy! Cool

Hos fast does it imply it goes, or does it? Cost'ish (rough guesstimate) for a person to buy one? Looks pretty sweet. I think the saddle bags would be nice, might even use for excess fuel storage. Hopefully I didn't lie last time, but in the next lifetime.. I'm gonna get me one. Maybe I just keep putting it off.

Looking at the link with the statistics, would you 'estimate' about 120 miles on a top off of the tank?

For speed, online reports from riding are about 56mph or so.  Chrissy took it out for a test drive yesterday as she is working towards obtaining her motorcycle endorsement and got it up to over 50 before easing off the throttle.  Shifting is easy with the autoclutch and the bike was a great size for her (she's 5' 2'' and about 98lbs).  After breaking the engine in the mpg and speed should come up a bit, allowing for commuting to and from work while keeping with traffic.  The stats from SYM's page state over 150 mpg, which is probably accurate, yet I can't say I've observed it yet.....only two day's off the truck/boat so far, lol.

I think 120 miles on a top off/fill up is a safe estimate right now, and it wouldn't surprise me if it did as well as the stats say it does after break in.  It seems that the estimated mileage is an average, and weight of rider and conditions of roads (hills, etc) would of course come into play.

The suggested retail price is around 2500 bucks, plus tax and registration.  A solid bike, and a nice retro design.  There is no storage, save for the rear rack, so the saddle bags would be sweet.  Also a windscreen to keep June Bugs and such from bouncing off the face and noggin is in my humble little opinion a must!  Even a fly, at driving speeds, stings quite a bit!  Took a little multi-legged Kamikaze in the cheek at 60mph on an HD200 the other day while wearing a half-lid......that was enough for me, swung back by the house and grabbed the full face helmet!  Every now and then I will get a 'Splat!' on the face shield that reminds me why I go with a full bucket that protects the whole head and face.
